Maru Collection

We have been at Shyam Bhuvan for quite a long while now. Most folks know where we are because we are right near Maru Book Centre. Being in Kandivali West feels like home since the neighborhood is always busy and there is always someone walking by the shop front. It is just Shop No 4, nothing too fancy or big at all. We mostly just focus on getting through the day and helping whoever walks in looking for what we have on the shelves. Sometimes the traffic on Mathur Road gets to be a bit much, but that is just how it is around here. It is a small space, but we keep it organized enough so people can find things without too much trouble. We do not really do big advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth usually does the trick for us. People stop by after visiting the book shop or just while they are out doing their regular errands in the afternoon. We know a lot of the faces that come through the door by now. It is nice seeing the same people every week. The shop is not exactly new, and it shows a little bit, but it works for what we need. We open up every morning and stay until the evening rush finally settles down. There is not a complex story behind it, just a local spot in a busy part of town. We try to keep things straightforward and honest with everyone who visits.
