I work out of a small place at A-1104 in the Aster building, which is part of Dosti Arcade in Antop Hill. It’s just me here most days. I’ve been doing this for a long time and the building has become very familiar to me. The commute to Antop Hill can be a bit of a slog sometimes, especially when the traffic gets heavy near the harbor line, but I've gotten used to it over the years. My office isn't anything special to look at. It has a desk, a couple of chairs for visitors, and a lot of papers that I really should file away more often. The view from the eleventh floor is mostly just other buildings and the street below. You can hear the city humming all day long. Sometimes the lift in Dosti Arcade acts up, so I end up waiting in the lobby longer than I’d like, chatting with the security guards. I don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Usually, people find me because someone they know told them to come here. I just try to keep things simple and get the work done without making a big scene about it. It’s a quiet way to run a business, and that suits me just fine. I make my own tea in the corner and try to stay on top of my emails. It's just a regular life in a busy city, really.
