Diva Collections

Our shop, Diva Collections, is in the Singapuri Building, right there in Marine Lines. It is a busy spot, especially being so close to Parsi Dairy. Everyone knows that dairy, so it is a good landmark for people finding us. We have been in this building for a long time now. The stairs are a bit steep, but people do not seem to mind the climb. Inside, it is mostly racks of clothes and boxes that need to be sorted. I spend a lot of my day helping customers try on different pieces or checking if we have a specific size in the back room. The noise from the street is always there, but it is part of the atmosphere of Marine Lines. Sometimes it is raining so hard that the water almost comes in under the front door. We keep a bucket and a mop handy just in case. It is a family-run place, so there is always someone around to help out. We do not have fancy displays or bright lights like the big chains. It is more about the actual clothes we have. I often find myself re-arranging the hangers because they get messy so fast. People stop in after their work or while they are out running errands. It is a steady pace, nothing too crazy, but it keeps us busy from morning till night. We just try to provide what people want.
