Marigold & Jaygold

Our place, Marigold & Jaygold, is located in Cumballa Hill on Raghavji Road. We are on the second floor of a building called The Cliff. It is a bit of a quieter area compared to the rest of Mumbai, which we really appreciate. Being near Gowali Tank means there is always a bit of local history around us. The office itself is not very large, but we have enough room for what we do. We spend a lot of time looking at materials and figuring out how to put things together. It is a hands-on kind of business. We aren't interested in being some big corporate entity with fancy offices. We just like the work and the people we meet along the way. Most of our day is spent at the benches or talking to suppliers on the phone. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep and narrow, but you get used to it after the first few times. We have been in the 400026 zip code for quite a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Despite the changes, we stay doing the same practical work we’ve always done. It’s about the details and making sure the final product is decent enough for the people who ask for it. We don’t use any fancy talk to describe ourselves. We are just a small team working out of a room in Cumballa Hill, trying to do things the right way without making a big fuss about it.
