We are based at 131 Kandivali East. Our office is where we handle all the export business. It is usually a bit of a mess with boxes and samples of things we are sending out. We deal with a lot of different products, so you never know what might be sitting on the floor on any given day. Kandivali East is a busy hub and there are always trucks moving nearby. We spend a lot of time on our emails, talking to people in other countries. Because of the time differences, sometimes we are here quite late or arrive very early in the morning. It is a lot of logistics. We have to make sure the quantities are right and that the shipping labels are correct. If something goes wrong at the port, it is a big headache for us. We have been doing this for a long time, so we have a system, even if it looks disorganized to an outsider. Our desks are piled high with catalogs and shipping documents. We don't have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see a sample, we just pull it out of a box. It is a very hands-on job. We have a small team and we all do a bit of everything. From packing to invoicing, it all happens right here in this office. It is just a regular workplace where we try to keep the orders moving out.
