Maniks Fast Forward

Our spot is over in Kandivali West, specifically at Dawood Shaikh Chawl, number 45. It’s not a big fancy office, just a functional space where we handle everything for Fast Forward. The chawl is a lively place, so there’s always something going on outside our door. We’ve got a lot of packages and paperwork coming in and out every day. It can get a bit disorganized when things get busy, but we always find what we’re looking for eventually. The fans hum all day long to keep the air moving because it gets stuffy in the afternoons. We’ve known our neighbors for years, and they often stop by to chat while we’re working. Kandivali is a fast-paced area, and we try to keep up with that energy. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we just have to wait it out or work by the light from the door. We aren’t interested in being a big corporation; we just want to do our job right here in the neighborhood. The stairs are a bit narrow and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it feels right for us. We’re just regular people trying to keep things moving and making sure every task gets finished before we head home. It’s simple, honest work, and we’re glad to be part of the community here at Dawood Shaikh Chawl. The noise of the street is just our daily background music.
