Mangalam Cement Ltd.

We spend a lot of our time up here on the 3rd floor of Building 5. It is a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. Mahesh Nagar is a busy spot in Goregaon West. Downstairs, there is always someone shouting or a bike honking. We handle Mangalam Cement Ltd from Flat No. 23. It’s not a fancy glass office like the ones you see in the movies, just a regular space with desks and some files stacked up in the corner. Mumbai is a crowded place, and Goregaon is no different. You get used to the noise after a while. Most days we are just looking at orders and making sure the cement gets where it needs to go on time. It is heavy work, even if we are just doing the paperwork part here. Sometimes the rain makes everything slow down, especially when the streets flood. We’ve been in this building for a bit now. People in the neighborhood know us. It is just a practical way to run a business. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. Just come to the third floor and knock. Usually, there is some chai going around if it is afternoon. Cement is a basic thing, everyone needs it for building, so we stay busy enough. The flat is small but it works for what we do. It’s just how things are in this part of town.
