Manas Chemicals

We have been running Manas Chemicals from our spot at No 3 in Vile Parle East for several years. It is a small operation, mostly just a couple of us handling the orders and making sure the chemicals get where they need to go. The office isn't much to look at, just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of files stacked in the corner. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking the inventory sheets. Vile Parle East has its own charm, and being at No 3 makes it easy for our regulars to find us without much trouble. We do not do any advertising; word of mouth has always worked for us. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is coming in from the factory. The chai wallah nearby knows our order by heart now, which is nice on busy afternoons. We deal with all sorts of local businesses that need basic chemical supplies for their shops. It is steady work. We try to keep our records straight and not get too bogged down in the small stuff. The building is older, so it has that lived-in feel which we actually like. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to do our job right every day. Every morning we open up, check the mail, and start the day's rounds. It has been this way for a long time.
