Malvan Katta Hotel

Parel Station Road is always a mess of people, especially in the mornings when the trains let out. Malvan Katta Hotel is just at Shop No 12, right in the thick of it. We open up early, usually when the air is still a bit cool before the sun really hits the pavement. It’s a small place, mostly just some tables and chairs that have seen better days. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy office in the back. It’s just us working the floor and the kitchen. The heat from the stoves gets pretty intense around noon. We spend a lot of time just keeping the floor swept because people bring in so much dust from the street. Sometimes the delivery trucks for the other shops block our entrance, and we have to go out and talk to the drivers to move. It’s a bit of a struggle every day, honestly. We get the same vegetable guy coming by every morning. We don’t use any fancy apps to manage things, just a notebook and some pens. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time between the lunch rush and cleaning up at night. It’s a loud, busy spot, and that’s just how it is. We don't have a mission or anything like that. We just show up, cook, and make sure the place is locked up tight before we go home.
