We are located on the third floor of the Gem Star Complex. It’s at No. 304, right on Ramchandra Lane Extension in the Kachpada area. If you know Malad West, you know the Link Road gets very busy. Our office is a bit removed from the main road noise, which helps us focus on the engineering side of medical equipment. We’ve been here for a while, working on technical stuff that most people don't think about until they need a machine fixed. George Philips Medical Engineering is a private limited company, but we don't have that cold, corporate feel. It’s mostly engineers and staff who have been with us for years. The lift in the complex can be slow sometimes, but we’re used to it. We spend our days looking at blueprints or checking parts. It isn't a glamorous job, but someone has to do it. We don't do much in the way of marketing. Most of our work comes from hospitals that know we can handle the technical side of things. The office has desks piled with papers and some old manuals. We don't mind the clutter as long as we know where everything is. We just try to stay on top of the technology and keep our clients happy without making a big fuss about it. It’s a steady way to earn a living while helping the medical field.
