Shaagrika Fashions

You can find us at 7 Bayview Ridge Road, up here in Malabar Hill. It’s a nice part of town, though the hills can be a bit of a climb if you're walking. Shaagrika Fashions is basically a small outfit where we handle clothes and different styles that we think people around here might actually wear. We don't follow every single trend you see on the internet because most of that stuff isn't very practical for daily life. Instead, we look for things that feel right. The shop isn't overly decorated. We prefer to spend our time checking the stitching and making sure the colors haven't faded. Sometimes the weather gets a bit damp being so close to the ridge, so we have to be careful with the stock. We’ve been operating from this address for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s mostly locals who drop in, though we get the occasional visitor from further away. We aren't trying to be a high-end boutique with guards at the door. We just want to be a place where you can find something nice to wear without a lot of drama. We do our own packing and sorting right here in the back room. It’s a bit cluttered sometimes, but we know where everything is. It's a small team here, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. We value the quiet days just as much as the busy ones, even if they aren't as profitable.
