Our office is tucked away in Fort, specifically at Plot No-25 in Unique House. You have to head up to the 3rd floor to find us. Being in this part of South Mumbai, the building has that old, sturdy feel that you only get in this neighborhood. S A N Breivik Road stays pretty crowded during the day, so it’s always a bit of a challenge finding a good spot for a bike or car nearby. We spend most of our hours here among stacks of drawings and files. The windows let in some light, but mostly we’re under the tube lights. It’s a workspace where things actually get done, so it isn't always the tidiest place in the world. You’ll see coffee mugs on desks and plenty of paper everywhere. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is quite a workout. The air is a mix of that city saltiness and the smell of old paper. We’ve been in this space long enough to know all the sounds of the street below, from the honking to the shouting of the vendors. It’s just how things are in Fort. We like the rhythm of it. It’s not a shiny corporate glass tower, just a solid office where we show up every morning and stay until the work is finished for the day.
