Mahek Art Jewellery

We are over in Ghatkopar at units 16 and 17. It’s a shop where we keep a variety of art jewellery. We aren't a big gold showroom or anything like that. We deal more with the pieces people wear for everyday or for smaller functions. The shop is usually quite full of boxes and displays. We spend our time helping people find something that looks right for whatever occasion they have coming up. It's not a complicated business. We keep the place tidy and try to have a good selection on the shelves. Ghatkopar is a busy area, so there’s always people walking past the window. Some stop in to look at a necklace or some earrings. We don't follow all the high-end fashion trends, we just stock what we think looks nice and what our customers seem to like. It’s just me and a couple of others here. We don't have any big sales pitches. If you like something, you buy it. We also help if someone needs a small repair on a piece they bought from us. It’s a local shop for local people. We’ve been here long enough that we know what people are looking for. It’s a nice way to spend the day, surrounded by all these small, shiny things. We just keep doing our thing and seeing the regular faces. If you need something for a gift, we usually have something suitable on the shelf.
