You’ll find us in Kannamwar Nagar-02 in Vikhroli East. This part of Mumbai feels a bit more like a real neighborhood compared to the taller buildings downtown. We’re tucked into the residential area here, so we get to know the people living nearby pretty well. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a plain structure that fits in with the rest of the blocks. Inside, it’s a lot of white walls and linoleum floors that have seen better days but are kept clean. We have a small garden patch out back where some of the staff try to grow herbs, though the Mumbai heat isn't always kind to them. It’s the kind of place where you hear kids playing outside or someone’s radio through an open window. We don't have a big HR department or a team of people in suits. Most of us wear comfortable shoes because we're on our feet all day moving between the different wards. The reception desk is a bit cluttered with papers and some old calendars, but we know where everything is. It’s a local hospital for local people, and we don't try to be anything more than that. It’s just a steady, everyday kind of place where we deal with whatever comes through the door, one person at a time, without any corporate polish.
