Mahamaya Road Carriers

We’ve been here at Plot No 92 in Goregaon East for quite some time now. Our office is tucked behind the Nirlon Company, right near Sharma Estate on Road No 3. It gets a bit busy around here during the day with all the trucks moving in and out of Phase Iv. You usually see us sitting around the desk handling paperwork or talking to drivers about their routes. The area has changed a lot since we first started, but the dust and the noise stay mostly the same. We handle a lot of road transport stuff, mostly just getting things from one point to another without making too much of a fuss. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking logs. Sometimes the rain makes the road near the estate a bit messy, but we manage to get through it. People know us as Mahamaya Road Carriers, and we just focus on the work right in front of us. Most days start early, around seven or eight, and we don't really head home until the last driver checks in. There isn't anything fancy about how we run things here. We just have a small space, a few chairs, and the files we need to keep track of everything. It’s practical work. If you’re walking behind Nirlon, you’ll probably see our sign. We've stayed in this spot because it's convenient for the highway and keeps us close to the industrial side of Goregaon. It’s a lot of work but we like it.
