Our place is right there in the Geetanjali Building on V P Road. You have to go to Charni Road and look for us above Monpara. We are right next to the Farsanwala shop, so it’s easy to find if you know that spot. It’s not a very big shop, just a few chairs and mirrors like any other salon in this part of Mumbai. We’ve been here for quite some time now. Most of the women from the nearby buildings come to us for their usual threading or hair cutting. It gets pretty crowded on Saturday afternoons because everyone wants to get ready for the weekend. The stairs up to the shop are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when you walk up. We try to keep things simple here. There isn't any fancy music or expensive decorations, just the basic stuff you need. The street outside is always noisy with traffic and people walking to the station. Sometimes it’s hard to hear each other talk when a big truck goes by. We know most of our customers by name since they live around here. It's just a regular local business where we do our work every day from morning until late evening. If you are around Charni Road and need a quick hair trim, you can just stop by. We don't usually do big appointments, people just walk in when they have time to sit for a bit and get their hair done.
