Maa Jijau Krushi Vikas Farmer Producer Company Limited is our name. We are located at Plot No. 113 in Narayankhed. That’s in the Deulgaon Raja area of Buldhana. Janardan A. Cheke’s place is where we set everything up. It’s a decent spot, not too far from the main road. Buldhana is a nice enough place to live, though it gets a bit slow in the afternoons. We handle the krushi vikas side of things, which just means we work with the local agriculture. We chose the name Maa Jijau because it means something to us around here. Our office is just a room with some chairs and a ceiling fan that clicks. We don't have any polished speeches or mission statements. We just talk like regular people because that’s who we are. Some days we are very busy with the harvest and other days we just sit and wait for things to happen. It's a practical way to run a business. We don't try to impress anyone with big words. We just do our jobs and go home to our families. The people in Narayankhed are our friends and neighbors. We’ve been here a while and we plan on staying. It’s a simple life, focused on the land and the seasons. That’s about all there is to it. We’re just another part of the community here and we like the quiet.
