M2m Greens

M2m Greens is located at Dadar East on Dsp Road, right at number 217. We are mostly surrounded by plants and soil all day. It’s a bit different from the other shops on the street because we have so much green stuff everywhere. The air smells like wet dirt and fertilizer, which I guess is better than the exhaust fumes from the cars on Dsp Road. We spend a lot of time watering things and making sure the leaves don't turn brown. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting pots and moving bags of compost around. Our hands are almost always dirty, and we don't bother wearing nice clothes to work because they just get ruined. Dadar East is a busy hub, so we get all kinds of people walking in just to look around or ask for advice on why their plant at home is dying. We don't have a big philosophy or anything; we just like plants and we sell them to people who want them. Sometimes the insects get into the inventory and we have to spend the whole morning cleaning things up. The shop isn't very organized, and sometimes you have to move a fern just to get to the back room. We like it that way, though. It feels more like a garden than a store. We just stay busy with the plants and try to keep everything alive until someone takes it home for themselves.
