We are located on the third floor of the MMRD Building, in Room 309. The building is on Ram Mandir Road in Shivaji Nagar, Goregaon West. Being in Mumbai, space is always a bit tight, and our office is no exception. We share the Building No. 2 R2 with several other small businesses. To get to us, you have to take the stairs or the lift, which sometimes has a mind of its own. Once you’re inside our room, it’s a pretty basic setup. We have some desks, a few chairs for visitors, and a lot of files. The area around Ram Mandir Road is always crowded and noisy, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of the trains and the traffic over the years. It’s just the background music to our work. We aren't a big firm with fancy titles. We are just a group of people trying to manage our daily operations. Our windows look out over other rooftops in Goregaon. Sometimes we spend more time than we should just watching the city move below us. We don't have any corporate mission statements on the walls. We just have a calendar and some notes tacked up. It’s a practical place for practical work. We’ve been in this building for a while now and we know the security guards and the other tenants. It’s a community of workers just trying to make a living in the city.
