We sit in Office No 3 over in the Building Patwa Ch Masjid area. It is right there opposite to the SBI Bank, so you can always hear the people waiting in line outside or the cars honking at each other. It gets quite noisy during the day especially when the afternoon sun hits the front door. We have been here for a good while now, just doing what we do with the moving trucks and the packing tape. Moving houses or shifting offices is mostly what keeps us busy from the morning till it gets dark. The space here is a bit small, but it’s enough for our desk and the few chairs we have for visitors. Sometimes the mosque nearby is very busy and the whole street fills up with people. We just work around it. There is a lot of dust from the road that comes inside if we leave the windows open too long. Our staff usually just grabs some tea from the stall around the corner before we start loading the boxes. It is not a fancy place at all, just a regular office where we keep the logs and the keys. We don't really have a big team, just a few local guys who know how to lift things without breaking them. It’s hard work on the back and the knees but it’s what we know how to do here in this part of town.
