M. Lallubhai & Co.

M. Lallubhai & Co. is tucked away at No. 31, Israil Mohalla. We are located on the ground floor of the Old Bhagwan Bhuvan building, right there on Masjid Bandar Road. If you know this part of the city, you know how tight and busy the streets are. It is one of those old neighborhoods where the roads are narrow and there is always something happening right outside the door. We have been in this same spot for decades. The walls are a bit old and the space is a little cramped, but it is where we do all our business every day. We deal in various trades, mostly things that have been handled by the family for generations. It is a lot of big ledger books and old-fashioned ways of doing things. We do not have fancy computers sitting on every desk. There is a lot of noise from the street outside—handcarts, people shouting, and the general hum of Masjid Bandar life. We actually like the energy of it. It is a practical place for us. We do not care much for decorations or trying to look corporate for anyone. We just focus on our customers and getting the orders filled on time. Some days it gets so busy you can hardly move around the office. But we would not have it any other way. It has got history here and we know all the other traders on the street.
