M J Surgical

Down in Phase-1 of the Gidc in Kathwada, you will find us at Plot No. 283 on Road No. 3. The name on our building is M J Surgical. It is an industrial area, so it is mostly just warehouses and workshops around here. We spend our time making various items that hospitals and doctors use. It is a bit different from the heavy engineering shops nearby because we have to keep things a bit cleaner, but it is still a workshop at the end of the day. There is always the sound of machines humming in the background while we work. We have a small team here. Some of us have been here for years, and we know exactly where everything is, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We get deliveries of stainless steel and other materials throughout the week. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time navigating Road No. 3 because it gets narrow with everyone parking on the sides. We just deal with it and keep moving. We don't have a big sales team. Mostly, orders just come in and we fill them as they arrive. It is a quiet kind of work in a way, even with the machinery. We take our lunch together and talk about the news or what is happening in Kathwada. We don't think of ourselves as anything special, just people doing a job.
