M.H. Saboo Siddik College Of Engineering

We are based in the Byculla area, specifically at 8, Saboo Siddik Polytechnic Road. This particular location has a lot of history to it. The building itself is quite old and it really stands out in the middle of the neighborhood. We are located right next to the polytechnic, and there is almost always a lot of movement and noise around here. Being in the heart of the city means that it is very easy for students to get to us, but it also means that the streets are always busy. Inside the gates, everything is focused on engineering. We have several different departments like mechanical, electronics, and civil. The workshops have that specific smell of oil and cut metal that you would expect. Our students come from all different walks of life, and the hallways are usually full of loud conversation. The faculty members have been teaching here for many years, and they know exactly how to handle the heavy workload of the curriculum. It is a very straightforward place with no extra frills. We have a small canteen that serves basic snacks and tea, which is where most people end up during their free time. The labs are functional and filled with tools and computers that have definitely seen a lot of use over the semesters. It is a place that feels very grounded in the real world. We don't pretend to be some kind of high-end campus. It’s just an engineering college.
