M A Transport Co is based out of Govandi. We are situated near the BMC School Number 2, which is a pretty easy place to find if you are in the area. Our business is all about moving goods from one place to another. It’s a gritty kind of job and our office reflects that. It is mostly just a place to keep the keys and the logbooks. There is always a lot of dust because of the trucks and the narrow roads around here. We have drivers coming in and out at all hours, depending on when their shift starts or when they get back from a long trip. It can get pretty loud when the school kids are out or when a big engine is idling nearby. We don't have any polished corporate brochures or a fancy receptionist. It’s just a desk, a few chairs, and a lot of talk about routes and fuel prices. We’ve been operating in Govandi for a good number of years. We know the roads and we know how to deal with the local traffic. It’s a hard life sometimes, especially during the monsoon when the roads get bad, but we just keep the trucks moving. We don't make any big promises, we just try to get the loads delivered without too much trouble. It is a straightforward business run by people who know the transport trade inside out.
