Lush The Salon

We are Lush The Salon, tucked away in Powai. If you know where Mainland China is, we’re right near that. We actually share some space or rather we are c/o Dentech Dental Care Centre. It’s a bit of an unusual setup having a salon and a dental place together but it works for us. We’ve been here for a bit now, keeping things running every day. The neighborhood is nice, lots of people walking by. Inside, we just do hair and skin stuff. It’s not one of those massive corporate chains where everything is white and sterile. We have our own way of doing things. Sometimes it gets loud when we have a few customers in at once chatting away. The area code is 400076, so we get a lot of local residents coming in. We don't really do much fancy advertising, just the sign out front and word of mouth. It’s a small team here. We know most of our regulars by name. Sometimes the coffee machine acts up, but we make do. Dealing with hair all day means there’s always a broom in someone’s hand. It’s a busy life but it’s good. Being in Powai is great because there is always something happening. We try to keep the place tidy but with hair products and towels, it’s a constant battle. We just like what we do and we keep at it. The location is handy for everyone around.
