Our little office is located at Number 1 in Creado Chawl. It is in Andheri East, right near the Sai Hanuman Temple. If you are walking around Suta, you can probably find us pretty easily because the temple is a big landmark for everyone around here. We handle freight and moving goods from this spot. The office isn't very large, but it's enough for what we do every day. Dealing with logistics in a place like Mumbai means dealing with a lot of paperwork and even more phone calls to drivers and warehouse people. We spend a lot of time sitting at our desks or standing outside the chawl talking to the loaders. It can get pretty cramped in the lane when a truck tries to get close. We've lived and worked in Andheri for a long time, so we know the shortcuts and how the local traffic flows. It's a lot of back and forth, making sure things get picked up on time. There is always someone coming in or out. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out for a bit, but we just manage. It’s a real person kind of business, not some big shiny building with glass walls. We just focus on the boxes and the schedules. It is noisy and dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby, but we are used to it by now.
