Lucia Panbidi Shop

We are located over on Street Number 2 in Preet Nagar, Malad West. It is a small shop, mostly just a wooden counter with all the glass jars lined up in a row. We sell pan, cigarettes, and some small snacks that people like. People stop by on their way to work or when they are just walking around the neighborhood in the evening. The jars have different types of supari and sweets inside. It gets a bit crowded around sunset when everyone is out and about. We spend most of the day rolling pan and talking to the regulars who have been coming here for years. We try to keep plenty of change ready because people are usually in a big hurry to get where they are going. The shelves are packed with all sorts of small items and matchboxes. It can get quite hot in the afternoon, so we have a small fan that mostly just moves the warm air around. Preet Nagar is a busy area and there is always something happening right outside our door. We do not have any fancy signs, just the name and the stuff we have on display. It is a simple business. My hands are always stained from the lime and the leaves we use. We open early and stay open until the streets finally go quiet at night. It is just how things are here. Sometimes we run out of a brand, but usually, we have what people want.
