Look

Our shop is called Look and you can find us at 47/49 Pinjara Street, which is around the Masjid Bunder area in Borivali West. It’s a very busy part of town and there is always something going on outside our door. The shop itself is pretty small and we have stuff packed all the way to the ceiling. It can be hard to find things sometimes if you don't know where we put them. We have been at this location for several years and the building is showing its age, but it serves our purpose. It is mostly just two of us working here. We spend the morning unpacking new items and the rest of the day trying to keep things organized. It is a lot of work and we don't always get it right. Sometimes the shop feels a bit messy, especially when we get a large shipment of goods. We don't have a big sign or any bright lights to attract people. Most of our customers are folks who are already in the area for the market. We don't do any big promotions or anything like that. We just open up and wait to see who comes in. It’s a lot of standing around and talking to the neighbors. Pinjara Street is a tight fit for cars, so most people just walk. It’s a basic place with a lot of history for us.
