Lonavala Chakan Roadlines

We’ve been running Lonavala Chakan Roadlines out of this shop on Raghunath Street for a good while. Shop No 26 is where all the paperwork happens and where we coordinate the trucks. Being in Masjid Bunder West is convenient because things are always moving around here. If you know where Prabakar Hotel is, we are just a few steps away from there. It gets pretty crowded on this street during the day with all the loading and unloading going on. We mostly focus on the routes between here and the industrial areas. It’s a lot of phone calls and making sure drivers know where they are going. The office isn’t much to look at, just desks and logbooks and a lot of tea, but it works for what we do. Dealing with transport means things rarely go exactly as planned, but we stay on top of it. Some days the traffic is a nightmare and other days it’s smooth. We know the roads well after all these years. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, but that’s just the nature of roadlines. We aren't a big corporate firm, just a local team trying to keep things moving. Most of our regulars just drop by the shop to settle things or check on their loads. We like the grit of this neighborhood. It keeps us on our toes. There’s always someone around if you need to ask a quick question about a delivery.
