Lokmanya Hindu Hotel

Our hotel, Lokmanya Hindu Hotel, is located in the Royal Chamber building on H G Road. We are right in the Gamdevi area of Mumbai, not far from the Round Temple. It is an old part of the city, and the streets are usually packed with cars and people. We have been running this place for a while now. The space inside is quite tight, so we have to be organized to make it work. Most of our day is spent in the kitchen or behind the counter. We see a lot of regulars who live or work nearby. The atmosphere is usually quite noisy because of the traffic outside and the people talking inside. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just us and the daily tasks of buying vegetables, cooking, and serving the food. The heat in the kitchen can be tough, especially in the middle of the day. We try to keep things moving so people don't have to wait too long. Cleaning is a constant job because the city dust finds its way into everything. We don't spend money on big ads or anything. People just know where we are by word of mouth. We wake up, do the work, and close the shutters at night. It is a basic way of living, but it keeps us busy and we know the neighborhood well. There is always someone new walking in.
