Little Hut

You can find Little Hut in Malad West, situated off Old Madras Road near Hosakote Road 154. I know the address sounds a bit confusing because of the road names, but we are right there. The name fits us because the place really is quite small. We started out with just a few tables and a tiny kitchen area. It’s mostly a place for quick bites and a place to sit for a minute. The walls are decorated with stuff we found at local markets over the years. Nothing matches perfectly. One of the chairs has a shorter leg, so we put a piece of folded cardboard under it. It’s been like that for months. We do the cooking ourselves. It’s not a big team. Usually, it’s just me and my brother handling the orders and the cleaning. We don't have a fancy coffee machine; we just make it the way we like it at home. Some days the supply truck doesn't show up on time, and we have to go out and buy groceries ourselves. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes, but we like being our own bosses. People from the offices nearby come in for lunch. We don't do any advertising. If the food is okay, people come back and tell their friends. That’s the only plan we really have. It’s just a simple hut for anyone who needs a break from the day.
