You can find us at unit 36 in the Ujagar Industrial Estate, right on W.T. Patil Marg in Govandi. It’s a busy spot with lots of trucks and movement all day long. Ligmatech Automation Systeme GmbH is based here, and we focus on the automation side of things. The space is a bit tight sometimes because we have quite a bit of equipment and parts lying around for the systems we work on. Being in Govandi means we are close to a lot of other businesses, which is handy when we need a specific tool or part quickly. Our staff is mostly technicians and people who like to tinker with machines. We aren't really the type to sit in suits; most of us wear work clothes because things can get greasy or dusty. The industrial estate has been here for years, and we’ve become part of the furniture. We have a small pantry where we take our breaks, and that’s usually where the best ideas come from while we're having chai. It’s not a shiny corporate office, just a functional workspace where things get built and tested. We deal with various automation setups and try to make sure they actually work when they leave the shop. It's a lot of trial and error sometimes, but that is just the nature of the job we do. We just keep working until the sun goes down and then we head home.
