Lico Materials Private Limited

Our office is on the third floor of Upadrasta House, which is Plot-46. We are right in the middle of Kala Ghoda, on Dr. V B Gandhi Marg. Lico Materials Private Limited is a small team working out of Fort. Being in this part of Mumbai means there is always something going on outside the window. It is an old building, which fits what we do quite well. We handle various materials for building and construction. It is not the cleanest work in the world, but being in Fort makes the meetings a bit easier for people to get to. We do not have a big fancy sign or a lobby with a fountain. Just a regular door on the third floor. We spend our time looking at material specs and talking to different suppliers. The streets around here are very tight, so getting things in and out can be a chore sometimes. We have been in the industry for a few years and learned how to navigate the city's quirks. We do not have a mission statement on the wall. We just show up, do the paperwork, and make sure the materials are moving to the right locations. It is a practical business. We drink a lot of tea and handle a lot of calls. That is the life of a small material firm in Mumbai. We like being near the historic parts of the city.
