Liberty Hotel

Liberty Hotel is located on the second floor of the Suvarna Park building over at 49 Marine Lines. If you are walking around that part of Mumbai, you’ll see the Round Masjid nearby, which is the easiest way to tell people where we are located. Being on the second floor means we are a bit away from the immediate noise of the street, but you can still hear the city moving outside. Marine Lines is a place that never really stops, and we see all sorts of people coming through. The building itself has its own character, and we’ve been here long enough that the walls feel familiar. We keep things pretty simple in the hotel. There isn't a lot of extra stuff going on, just rooms for people who need a place to stay while they are in this part of town. Our staff usually knows the neighborhood well, so if someone asks about a local shop or the way to the station, we can usually point them in the right direction. It gets humid here, especially in the middle of the year, so we spend a lot of time making sure everything is aired out and clean. It’s a lot of routine work, checking people in and out, and keeping the place tidy. It’s just a regular local hotel, nothing more or less than that.
