Lewis India Shirt is located in the National Market over in Wadala West. If you’ve ever been to the market, you know how packed it can get. It’s a lively place with a lot of different traders. We’ve been tucked away in here for some time now. Our day starts early, getting things set up before the crowds arrive. We mostly deal with shirts, as you might guess from the name. The shop isn't huge, so every bit of shelf space is used for stacking the latest stock. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; it’s mostly just us talking to the people who stop by. Some customers have been coming to us for years, and we know their names and what they like. It’s a bit informal here. We might be having tea while we show someone the different patterns we have available. The National Market has its own vibe, and we’ve become a part of that fabric. It’s noisy and sometimes a bit overwhelming, but it’s home to our business. We don't worry about being the most modern shop on the block. We just try to have a good selection of shirts and treat people fairly when they come in. It’s a straightforward way of doing things that hasn’t changed much since we opened.
