Lerch Bates & Associates

We are up on the 11th floor of the Ajanta building here in Colaba, right at number two on the 4th Main road. It is a bit of a climb if the elevator is acting up, which happens more than we would like, but the view from up here is something else. Most days it is just us at our desks, working through whatever paperwork comes across the table for Lerch Bates & Associates. Being in this part of Mumbai means there is always noise from the street below, but you get used to the honking after a week or two. Our office isn't anything fancy or decorated, just a practical place where we get things done. We have been at this address for a long time now, and the neighbors in the building are mostly quiet. Sometimes we head down for tea near the post office when we need a break from the computers. It is a bit cramped with all the old files, but that is just how it goes when you have been in one spot for years. People come in and out for meetings, and we try to keep things moving. We do not really do much in the way of big presentations, mostly just phone calls and technical work. We like the area because everything you need is just a short walk away, even if the traffic in Colaba is a mess most afternoons. We just keep our heads down and do our work.
