Leela Mehta

I am based at 1106 in Goregaon East, within the Pnachvati Estate area. My place is specifically in the Meenaxi Towers, which is part of the Odhav development. It’s a high-rise building, so it has a different feel than the street-level shops. Living and working from here means I’m right in the middle of a busy residential zone. Goregaon East has grown so much lately, and there are always new buildings going up. My space is pretty simple and mostly used for handling my personal business and paperwork. I don’t have a big signage or a fancy entrance. It’s just a regular unit where I get things done. Most of the people I deal with are either neighbors or people who have been referred to me by friends. I like the view from up here, even if the area below is always noisy with traffic. The Pnachvati Estate is a well-known name around here, so it makes it easy for people to find the building. I spend a lot of my day on the phone or working at my desk. There’s no big staff or corporate structure. It’s just me managing my own affairs. Sometimes the elevators in the tower take a while because there are so many people living here, but you get used to that. It’s a practical place to be, close to the station and the main roads, which helps when I need to go out for meetings. I have lived here a long time.
