Lazzat Shawarma

You can find us at Shop No 5 in the Dr Al mudda building. We are right on Maulana Azad Road North, which stays pretty active most of the day and night. Being in the Nagpada Mumbai Central area means there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. Lazzat Shawarma is a small place, so it can get a bit tight when we are busy. We spend a lot of our time prepping the meat and making sure the grill is hot. It’s hard work standing on your feet all day, but that’s how it goes in a food shop. The 400008 zip code is a real mix of everything. We get regulars from the neighborhood and people just passing through Mumbai Central. The shop isn't anything elaborate. We have our counters and the equipment we need to do the job. Some days are smoother than others, especially when the delivery bikes are all lined up outside on the road. We just try to keep up with the orders as they come in. It’s a basic setup here. We handle the cooking, clean up the mess, and start over again the next day. If you know this part of Nagpada, you know it’s a bit chaotic, but we like being here. Just look for us at the bottom of the building. It’s just a normal place with normal people working inside. We keep the grill going until the last customer leaves.
