Laxmi Vilas Hotel

We are over in Kanjurmarg East, specifically in the Kalol City area near Gandhinagar 5. Laxmi Vilas Hotel isn't really a fancy hotel like the ones in big movies, it is more of a regular place where people come to eat. We have been here for a bit now. The morning starts early for us because folks around here need their tea and breakfast before they catch the bus or train. The building is a bit old, and the paint is not exactly fresh, but the tables are wiped down often. We focus on the regular stuff, mostly local plates that people are used to eating at home. It gets really crowded during the afternoon shift when the workers from nearby offices come in. You might have to share a table sometimes, that is just how it goes here. We do not have a fancy menu with photos, just a board or a simple list of what is available today. Sometimes we run out of certain dishes by 2 PM, so it is better to come early. Our staff is small, usually just family or people from the village. It can be noisy with the kitchen sounds and people talking over their meals. We just try to get the food out hot and on time. It is a simple life running a kitchen in this part of town, and we are just part of the daily routine for most of our regulars who stop by.
