Our place is at 129 Vikroli West, right on Model Town Road. We are part of the Hindustan Kohinoor Industrial Complex, which is a big, busy area full of all sorts of companies. Our work involves chemicals and organic compounds, so the atmosphere is definitely industrial. You’ll see a lot of drums and containers moving around most days. It’s not the kind of office where you wear a suit; it’s more about lab coats and boots. We spend a lot of time monitoring processes and making sure the mixtures are right. The industrial complex can be a bit noisy with all the trucks and machinery, but you get used to it after a week or two. We’ve been in this unit for quite a while now. The team is small, and everyone knows their job. We don't have a lot of meetings; we just get on with the production. Sometimes the weather makes the warehouse a bit hot, but that’s just part of working in Vikhroli. We deal with various suppliers and customers, mostly over the phone or through deliveries. It’s a lot of practical, hands-on work. We keep an eye on the gauges and the inventory levels. It’s a steady rhythm here at Laxachem. We just show up, do the chemical work, and head home. It’s a solid business in a hardworking part of Mumbai.
