Landmark Exports

You can find us at Ratan House, which is on Farooque Umerbhai Street in the Agripada area. We are on the first floor, at number 8. Agripada is a busy neighborhood with a lot of old houses and small businesses tucked away in corners. Our office isn't very big, and it’s usually packed with samples and boxes waiting to be shipped out. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or typing out emails to people in different countries. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so we get our exercise every day. It’s a simple space with a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We aren't big on decorations; we just need a place to sit and manage the export side of things. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked with delivery vans, and things get a bit loud. We just close the windows and carry on. We’ve been in Ratan House for years, and we know all the other tenants in the building. It feels like a small community. We don't use any high-tech gadgets or fancy software if we don't have to. We prefer the old ways of doing things, keeping track of our orders carefully. It’s a straightforward business, and we are just regular people trying to make a living by sending goods across the sea. It's nothing glamorous, just steady work.
