Landmark Banquet

Our banquet space is located in the basement of Hotel Avon Ruby in Dadar East. We are part of the Gulmohar Architect Cooperative Housing Society area, which is a busy residential and commercial mix. Being in a basement means we don't have windows, but it makes it easier to keep the noise from the Dadar traffic out. We spend a lot of our time moving chairs around and setting up tables for different local events. It is a practical space for people who need a place for a gathering without spending a fortune. We have been doing this for a long time and we have seen all kinds of parties and meetings. The walls have been painted a few times and we try to keep the carpets clean despite all the feet walking over them. We don't have a fancy marketing team or a big glossy brochure. Usually, people find us because they stayed at the hotel or they live nearby in Dadar. It gets a bit hot when there are a lot of people in the room, so we are always checking the air conditioning. We handle all the cleanup ourselves and it can be a long night after a big event. It’s just a local venue run by people who know how to manage a crowd. We keep things simple and try to be helpful when people are planning their events.
