You can find us at Dada Manzil on Mohamedali Road. We are on the second floor, 4-b to be exact. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how crowded it gets. The streets are always full of people and carts. Our office is in an old building, so the stairs are a bit narrow and the ceilings are high. Lalit Impex Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from here for quite some time. It’s a busy place with people coming in and out all day long. We have files stacked up against the walls and the sound of the street comes right through the windows. It’s a lot of coordination work. We talk to suppliers and then we talk to the shipping agents. There’s a lot of back and forth. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just carry on. We aren't trying to be fancy here. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. We know the other businesses in the building and the guys selling snacks downstairs. The work is mostly about checking numbers and making sure the boxes are packed right. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock, but we manage. Living and working around Mohamedali Road means you get used to the hustle. We just focus on our impex tasks and try to stay ahead of the deadlines. It's a real Mumbai office life for everyone on the team.
