Lakson Creations

Lakson Creations is based in the Om Manusruti Society, which is on Gbroad in the Mazgaon area. Mazgaon is an older part of the city with a lot of character, and our spot in the society reflects that. It’s not a commercial complex, so it feels more like a neighborhood place. We have our workspace set up where we can handle the daily tasks of the business. It’s a bit cramped with all the materials we have lying around, but we manage. The society is usually quiet during the day, except for the occasional delivery van or kids playing in the lane. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving things around and making sure the creations are coming along okay. It’s a simple life here. We know the security guards and the people living in the apartments above us. Sometimes we have to step out onto the road to get some air because the shop gets a bit stuffy. Mazgaon has a specific smell of the sea and old buildings that you don't find elsewhere. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone fancy like that. It’s just us doing the work we know how to do. The desks are a bit scratched and the chairs aren't the newest, but they do the job. We stay late most evenings, especially when we have a lot of things to finish up for the next day. It is just plain and simple work here.
