Lajawaab Restaurant

You can find Lajawaab Restaurant at 18B, Al Hafiz Building, in the Ready Money Compound on Clare Road. We are in the Byculla area of Mumbai, right next to the Union Bank of India. It’s a busy part of town, 400027, and there is always something happening on the street outside. Our restaurant is located in an old building, which gives it a bit of character, though it’s not flashy. We’ve been here for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Inside, it’s just a normal eating place with a kitchen that stays busy from morning until night. Being next to the bank means we get a lot of office people during the day. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. It’s just a few of us making sure the food is cooked and the tables are wiped down. The Ready Money Compound is a bit of a landmark, so finding us isn't too hard. Byculla has a lot of energy, and we just try to keep up with it. We focus on the basics and don’t worry too much about being modern or trendy. We just want to provide a place where people can sit down for a bit. It’s hard work, but we’re used to the rhythm of this street now. We just open up the doors every morning and get things moving.
