Lagnapatrika

Lagnapatrika is located at Shop No 8 in Yadav Chawl, right on S V Road in Dahisar. We are on the Paud Road stretch, very close to Saint Xaviers School. Because of the school, the area is always busy with parents and kids, especially in the mornings and mid-afternoons. Our shop is small, typical of the shops you find in a chawl. We have samples of our work tucked into every available corner. Since we focus on wedding cards, the shop is usually full of different types of paper and bright colors. S V Road is always noisy with buses and rickshaws, so it’s never really quiet inside. We’ve been here for years, and we know many of the families in the neighborhood. People often drop by just to chat or ask for advice on their invitations. It’s a very local, community-focused kind of place. We don’t have air conditioning or fancy displays. We just have a few chairs for guests and a counter where we show our designs. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the door during a heavy storm, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. It’s an unpretentious business. We spend our days helping people get their cards ready for their big events. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to it. We've been in this Dahisar spot for a long time and don't plan on moving.
