Lafarge India Ltd

We are located way up on the 14th floor of the Bakhtawar Building. It’s right in the Nariman Point area, tucked behind the Oberoi Hotel, so the view of the water is actually quite nice when we get a spare minute to look out the window. Being in such a busy part of the city means things move fast around here. We deal with cement and various building materials, which is a bit funny because our office is so far removed from an actual construction site. Most of our day is spent on the phones and working on computers to coordinate deliveries and supplies across the whole region. It’s a busy office environment, with lots of desks and people rushing around with files and papers. The elevators in this building can be a bit slow in the mornings, which is always annoying when you’re trying to get to your desk on time. Even though we are part of a bigger name like Lafarge, this specific office feels like its own little world. We have a small break area where everyone gets their tea and takes a breather. It’s a bit cramped in some of the hallways with all the filing cabinets, but we make it work for us. Sometimes we have meetings that go on for way too long, but that’s just how office life goes in Mumbai. It’s a professional spot, but we try to keep it friendly.
