If you go to Kurla West and look for Shop No. 3 in Jagtap Chawl, that’s where you’ll find us. We’re right in Jew Colony, across from the Anjuman Islam School on S. G. Barve Marg. It’s a small shop, and honestly, it gets quite crowded with all the fabric and boxes everywhere. We do a lot of custom work and smaller batches of clothes. The street outside is always noisy with kids from the school and people going about their business. It’s a lively place to work, even if it’s a bit dusty sometimes. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time, and we know most of the neighbors. Sometimes the rain gets under the door when there’s a big storm, so we have to move everything onto the higher shelves. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people just walk in because they live nearby or heard about us from a friend. Dealing with the heat in the afternoons is the toughest part, especially when the iron is running. We just try to keep up with the orders and make sure nobody is waiting too long. It’s a basic shop, nothing fancy at all. We just focus on the sewing and making sure the measurements are what they should be. It’s a lot of manual labor, but we’re used to the pace and the noise.
