Kunj Roadways

Kunj Roadways is located up on the ninth floor, Shop No 902, in the Krushal Commercia building. Chembur is a big area, but if you find the 4th Cross on K V Temple Street, you’re basically there. We are right opposite the Canara Bank. Being up on the ninth floor is nice because you get a bit of a breeze and you can see out over the rooftops of Chembur. It’s a lot quieter up here than down on the street where the temple crowds and the bank customers are always moving about. The office is mostly desks and phones. Since we handle roadways, our work is mostly about coordinating things over the long distance. You’ll hear a lot of talk about highway conditions and fuel prices. We have a small pantry where we make coffee and tea, which is necessary when we have to stay late to track a night shipment. The building is fairly modern, but our office feels lived-in. There are maps pinned to the walls with various routes marked out. It's a professional space but not cold; we usually have the radio playing softly in the background. We know most of the other people on this floor, so there is a bit of a community feel in the hallway. It’s a good spot to run a business from, even if waiting for the elevator takes forever during lunch. We just try to stay on top of the schedule.
