Kunal Shipping

Kunal Shipping has its office at 103 in the Meenakshi Building in Khar West. Khar is a busy neighborhood, and finding a place to park near the building is almost impossible most days. The office itself is not very large, just a few rooms where we handle the shipping documents and talk to people on the phone. It is a residential-looking building, so it has a different feel than a typical commercial block. We spend a lot of time looking at computer screens and checking on where different shipments are located. Shipping involves a lot of waiting for news from ports and then a sudden rush to get all the papers filed on time. We have a small balcony where we can see the street below, which is a nice break when the work gets a bit repetitive. The building is older, but it is well-maintained and the neighbors are mostly quiet. We know the security guard at the gate well, and he usually lets us know when a delivery arrives. Inside the office, there are stacks of files and a few maps on the walls. It is a simple setup for a small team, and we have been at this address for a long time. The work is steady, and we just focus on getting through the daily tasks without making much of a fuss about it.
